Greenhouse Gases Monitoring Instrument on GaoFen-5 Satellite-II: Optical Design and Evaluation

چکیده

The Greenhouse gases Monitoring Instrument on GaoFen-5 satellite-II (GMI-II) uses spatial heterodyne spectroscopy (SHS) for quantitative monitoring of atmospheric greenhouse (GHG). Unlike the traditional SHS, interferometer component GMI-II was designed with zero optical path difference offset, effectively improving spectral resolution while maintaining same detector specifications. secondary imaging system non-isometric scaling and dimensions to decrease integration time a frame image or improve signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) under time. This paper introduces design, manufacture, adjustment methods, test results main performance indexes that indicate O2 A-band detection channel is better than 0.6 cm−1 other channels are 0.27 cm−1. Under typical radiance carbon monitors’ on-orbit statistics, SNR more 300. These demonstrate can be well adapted remote sensing GHG.

Examination of research into pole alternatives indicates that, without exception, studies have found that total energy requirements associated with wood materials are considerably lower than those of commonly substituted materials. The substitution of high-energy-intensive materials for low-energy-using wood materials would contribute substantially to an overall increase in carbon

Capturing greenhouse gases.

til very recently, scientists still deliberated whether human activity was altering the global climate. Specifically, was the release of greenhouse gases, which trap heat radiating from the earth’s surface, to blame? With scientific evidence mounting in favor of the affirmative, the discussion is now turning to what steps society can take to protect our climate. One solution almost certainly wi...
